Marian Lișcan

Marian is primarily involved in corporate and M&A matters, commercial contracts, regulatory aspects, GDPR matters and litigation. He is a highly organized and resilient attorney-at-law with a strong focus on delivering excellent results. Marian provides assistance and representation in court for various clients and foreign investors from a wide range of industries, including e-commerce, medical devices and radiology, sports and automotive, from the early stages of establishing various business entities and continuing with assistance with respect to corporate governance matters and day-to-day business administration.

Representative work:

●Assisting a private equity fund in the acquisition of a Romanian company retailing hearing aids, laryngology devices and accessories.

●Assisting one of the largest commercial and industrial solar companies in the world on various day to day corporate matters (e.g. transfer of shares, share capital increase, debt-to-equity swap operations).

●Assisting a private equity fund in the partial acquisition of a platform offering e-commerce stores, marketplace integrations and a variety of other integrations and services, predominately under a software as a service (SaaS) model.

●Assisting a Romanian non-banking financial institution in its day-to-day business operations, reviewing agreements with its business partners, compliance with the National Bank of Romania requirements and with consumers protection legislation.

●Assisting a Romanian company retailing hearing aids, laryngology devices and accessories with respect to the GDPR compliance assessment and drafting the data protection internal policies.
