Our lawyers have been involved in key projects, such as:

●Assisting the largest Romanian bank in relation to the top acquisitions on the Romanian financial market in both 2014 and 2018, involving due diligence, analysis, structuring and negotiating the transfer and post completion assistance.

●Assisting a large American Bank in relation to the sale of its retail business in Romania to an Austrian bank, a complex transaction involving the transfer of a portfolio containing over 100,000 customers, over RON 460M (over EUR 90M) in gross assets and over RON 770M in deposits (over EUR 175M).

●Assisting a consortium of leading banks with the financing of the leveraged buyout of a major supplier of bottled water and coffee in CEE and market leader in Romania and Serbia through several term loans and revolving facilities with an aggregated value of EUR 48,6 million.

●Assisting a large Hungarian bank in relation to the restructuring of credit facilities arrangements amounting to approx. EUR 60M granted to certain Cyprus companies holding Romanian subsidiaries and with the related security package.

●Assisting a large international bank in relation to a GBP 150M senior loan and of a GBP 35M mezzanine loan for the purpose of financing borrowers’ acquisition of one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of plumbing and heating products in the UK.

●Assisting an international financing company in relation to a USD 100M loan for the purpose of financing borrowers’ need of capital expenditure and working capital.
