Consistently committed to assisting clients in high-profile transactions and identifying the best solutions, tailored to our clients’ needs, our real estate team has done it all – from assisting private clients in investments, financing, development, leasing and sale of real estate in various sectors, to partaking in major infrastructure and concession projects and some of the most significant municipal services projects in Romania.

Our clients are present in all sectors of the Romanian real estate market including office, retail, industrial, residential and hotel developers and investors. While most of the clients of our real estate practice area are long term investors that we have assisted from the start of expanding their business in Romania, we are constantly increasing our portfolio with new clients – existing and renowned investors or newly established entities seeking to grow on the Romanian market.

Our lawyers have been involved in key projects, such as:

●Assisting the main office developers present on the Romanian market in various matters related to the development, leasing and divestment of their projects in Romania. The total value of the transactions in which our real estate team was involved during the recent years exceeds EUR 1B and our team participated in most of the landmark transactions on the market.

●Assisting a UK based investment fund in relation to the exit from one of its retail projects in Romania by means of share deal to a South African investment fund, in a transaction of approximately EUR 100M.

●Assisting leading developers active on the Romanian real estate market in the negotiation and implementation of construction agreements for the delivery of over 800,000 sq. m of gross leasable area.

●Assisting various real estate developers in the disposal of several logistic parks in transactions with a value of over EUR 160M.

●Assisting the winning consortium composed of two major European infrastructure companies in relation to the public procurement procedure for the award of the construction and operation contract for a motorway.
