Mădălina Fildan

With over 20 years of experience in business law, Mădălina’s main practice areas are Real Estate, Energy and Mergers & Acquisitions, in which she has a senior specialist position and project coordination role. She participated in projects that span a large part of the real estate market, including retail, residential, office buildings as well as the industrial and forestry areas. Mădălina was directly involved in and coordinated legal transactions related to the sale or acquisition of lands, construction projects, forward purchase projects and the lease of commercial centres, office buildings and logistic centres. Mădălina participated in relevant projects in renewable energy and natural resources field, where she has coordinated complex due diligence exercises and has been directly involved in transactions related to sale or acquisition of wind and photovoltaic projects.

Representative work:

●Assisting two Belgian investment funds in relation to the sale of their Romanian retail portfolio (25 retail parks) in a transaction of over EUR 200M.

●Assisting a leading international project development and construction company on various matters related to the development, leasing and divestment of three office projects in Romania; aggregate transaction value exceeds EUR 220M.

●Assisting a major property development company based in the Czech Republic in relation to various matters related to the development, leasing and sale of several office projects developed in Bucharest.

●Assisting one of the largest business groups in Romania in relation to the development, construction and leasing of an A class office building in the central part of Bucharest with an approximate GLA of 30,000 sq. m and the development and construction, including fit-out agreements for the residential complex comprising approximately 200 luxury apartments.

●Assisting a Belgium-based logistic facility developer in relation to the acquisition of various logistic facilities.

●Assisting a state-owned company leader on the renewable energy producing Romanian field and the main system services supplier in the potential acquisition of the most important energy supplier in the south-east Romania.

●Assisting a major property development company based in the Czech Republic in relation to the sale of a photovoltaic project under development, with an approved capacity of 153 MW DC.

●Assisting a Romanian company listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange producing nuclear energy with respect to the first stages of development of the first small modular reactors project in Europe.
