Ionelia’s main areas of expertise include competition law, commercial, as well as consumer protection law. She provides assistance on a variety of compliance related matters, advising companies on aspects related to FDI, merger control and conduct during investigations of the Romanian Competition Council. She has also been involved in regulatory matters related to the pharma and insurance market.

●Assisting a national electricity producer with the notification to the Romanian Competition Council of a transaction consisting in the acquisition of a line of business from a local company.

●Assisting a major operator of a renewable energy projects with the notification to the Commission for Screening of Foreign Direct Investments of an intended acquisition of a photovoltaic project.
