Ioana Militaru (Waszkiewicz)

With a background of more than 15 years in real estate transactions, Ioana has advised leading international developers and operators in office, retail, infrastructure, residential, industrial, logistics, as well as energy projects. Ioana has also gained extensive experience on corporate governance during a two year in-house counsel position with Argo Real Estate Opportunities Fund Ltd.

Representative work:

●Assisting a leading international project development and construction company, active in Europe, the US and Latin America in relation to the development of its office projects in the north -western part of Bucharest, with an aggregate leasable area of over 170,000 sq. m in three LEED certified office projects.

●Assisting two Belgian investment funds in relation to the acquisition of an extensive portfolio of over 20 retail projects located in Bucharest and various secondary cities in Romania.

●Assisting a leading German company part of a major utilities and chemicals group in relation to the acquisition and development of a wind farm having a capacity in excess of 100 MW.

●Assisting an UK based investment fund in relation to the development, financing and leasing of its shopping centres in two major cities in Romania.

●Assisting a United States based logistic park developer in relation to development and leasing of one of the largest logistics parks on A1 Motorway with a total targeted area of the development over 320,000 sq. m.

●Assisting the largest local office developer in relation to the leasing of office premises in the Northern and Western parts of Bucharest, projects having an aggregate leasable office space of 175,000 sq. m.

●Assisting one of the leading real estate companies in CEE region in relation to the acquisition of three office buildings in a prime location in the centre of Bucharest.
