Delia was part of multiple financing transactions, negotiations and legal due diligence investigations, while also acquiring experience in areas such as restructuring & insolvency, debt recovery procedures and general commercial matters.

Representative work:

Assisting a leading Romanian company in the chemical industry with respect to the possible impact of the EU sanctions imposed against Russian financial institutions over a EUR 160M financing; the assistance also included a presentation for a group of investors regarding the types of mortgages, as well as an overview of insolvency and enforcement procedures under Romanian law in order to grant the finance.

Assisting the Austrian subsidiary of an international bank in connection with a security package over movable assets for a financing project of over EUR 70M granted to a group of companies (including Romanian ones) having activities in the field of gambling.

Assisting the Romanian subsidiary of an international bank in connection with a security package over Romanian ships for a financing granted to the main fluvial operator in Romania.

Assisting several clients (e.g., one of the top non-banking financial institutions in Romania and a leading company in the pharmaceutical industry) in debt recovery procedures (both insolvency and enforcement) in connection with a number of large portfolios of non-performing loans and leasing agreements.

Assisting a well-known Romanian private pension administrator in relation to the impending legislative amendments in the mandatory private pensions field.

Assisting several clients (e.g., a well-known financing group and a company activating in the real estate business) in transactions involving the transfer of non-performing loans portfolios.
