Alexandra Oberschi

With more than 25 years of experience in Romanian and EU business law, Alexandra is an attorney-at-law specializing in Commercial Law, M&A, Energy & Natural Resources, Competition, Infrastructure & Construction, Public Procurement, Permitting and Licensing, and Ethics and Compliance (including GDPR, anti-bribery and anti-corruption). She advises major strategic investors, investment funds, Romanian entrepreneurs, foreign corporations, public authorities and international financial institutions, and is known for her pro-active, business-oriented approach and her focus on delivering clear, efficient and commercially sound solutions. Prior to joining Peli Partners as Managing Associate, Alexandra held in-house legal leadership roles and built extensive in-house and external counsel experience with large multinational companies and first tier law firms.

Representative work:

●Assisting a large Romanian infrastructure company in respect of structuring, conducting negotiations and successfully closing complex sale and rental deals with several major energy companies and one telecommunication company with respect to a 20-year span OPGW (optical ground wire) infrastructure project.

●Assisting a large Romanian group active in the infrastructure field in arbitration against one major telecom player.

●Assisting a large construction company in respect of various public procurement procedures and related construction projects.

●Assisting a large French construction company, as Legal Manager, in respect of sales, purchasing, competition, ethics & compliance and acquisitions/divestments matters across Romania and nine Eastern European countries.

●Assistance related to the structuring and supervising the network sharing between two main telecom operators.

●Assistance related to several cross-group acquisitions and divestments, including drafting, negotiating and implementing a broad range of commercial agreements.
